This is a recurve with real length. It would suit a shooter with a long draw well.

This bow is 49 lbs at 28" draw and is 71" nock to nock with an overall length of 72.5". This bow has a 67" Custom Flemish String.

Finished with 7 coats of Tru-Oil.

This bow has been test shot 50 times.

My husband, Doug Nelsen, makes these bows.

Osage Orange was native to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, but is now disappearing from the landscape. I know this from personal experience as I've seen hedge row after hedge row mowed under so more crops can be sowed. This is the time to obtain your bow, as there aren't many older rows left.

This wood makes extremely strong bows and has many used for thousands of years by the Native Americans. I shoot two of these myself, and find them to be highly reliable, shooting straight and strong every time. They are extremely lightweight.
