NEW 75# pound Gorgeous Strong Osage Orange Primitive Long Self Bow 72.5" Long

One of a Kind...Not made in any factory, but one at a time.

This Bow is my interpretation of the English Long Bow. This bow is made from Osage Orange which wouldn't have been the typical wood as they were usually constructed from English Yew.

This bow is 75 lbs at 28" draw and is 70" nock to nock with an overall length of 72.5". This bow has a custom handmade 66" Flemish String.

This bow has been drawn to 28" on my tree at least 50 times.

Finished with 7 coats of Tru-Oil.

Osage Orange was native to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, but is now disappearing from the landscape. I know this from personal experience as I've seen hedge row after hedge row mowed under so more crops can be sowed. This is the time to obtain your bow, as there aren't many older rows left.

This wood makes extremely strong bows and has many used for thousands of years by the Native Americans. I shoot two of these myself, and find them to be highly reliable, shooting straight and strong every time. They are extremely lightweight.
